Simple Moving’s liability for lost or damaged items is limited to $0.60 per pound per article, which is the standard released value protection provided by California movers.
Additional third-party moving insurance may be purchased through Moving Insurance. If additional insurance is purchased, Simple Moving must be notified no less than 72 hours before the day of the move.
Upon request, we can provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) for apartment buildings, offices, storage facilities, and property management companies.

If your building has already provided a form with all required information, simply send it to us and we can use it for processing.
There is a $50 fee to add a building or management company to our COI through our third-party insurance provider. We can process it before your move and simply add the fee to your final bill at the end of the job.
