Extra heavy item moving includes transporting items or specialty household and commercial pieces over 300 lbs that require advanced handling, additional manpower, or specialized equipment.
Common extra heavy items include:

• Marble tables and stone countertops

Items exceeding 800 lbs may not be movable due to safety limitations and site conditions.
All extra heavy item moves within 250 miles are completed on an hourly basis, providing flexible and cost-effective pricing.
Moves over 250 miles are classified as long-distance and quoted separately at a flat rate.

If the distance between your pick up and drop-off locations is more than 10 miles, double drive time will be applied to your move. For all hourly moves in the State of California, moving companies are required to charge double drive time. The actual CPUC law is written as follows: ‘the time used shall be the total of loading, unloading, and double the driving time from the point of origin to the point of destination.
